Although the official reports are not set to be updated till July
15th, there is significant data to show that July continued the 14
month (or so) drop in Global temperatures.
First, we have this page...
http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/tabledata/GLB.Ts+dSST.txt
This page measures the global land and ocean index with monthly data.
For the month of June, it says an anomaly of .26 degrees (from the
average they are using). Last year, it said .53. Therefore, the drop
would mean that June 2008 was less than half of the anomaly that last
year had. Indeed, you have to go back nearly 20 years to find a lower
global temperature for July.
And...just for kicks...check this out...
http://wattsupwiththat.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/uah_june08_curvefits.png
It is a long term graph showing continued dropping (dramatic) of the
troposphere data over the past 18 months.
Keep in mind that we had this dramatic drop in global temperature
WITHOUT any reduction in worldwide pollution output. Global Warming

well, i'll have you know it's been getting colder in australia and

because it's winter down there now, but i'm sure that's just one of

Diary of a Global Warming Skeptic:
well, it's day one, time zero for my study of global warming on a
local scale: 4:00 PM July 1, 2008
Time is now 1 hour (5 pm). i believe i am beginning to see a definite
cooling trend. if this continues, it will put the nail in the coffin
of this AGW nonsense.
Hour 2: temperatures continue to drop, at an accelerating rate.
conclusive proof that global warming, if it ever existed, is over.
Hour 3: even laypersons without access to my sophisticated
thermometric equipment have begun to note that it has cooled off.
popular support for the big lie is fading.
Hour 5: due to sustained rapid drop, i am taking time points more
spread apart now. the trend is so clear, i don't see how the AGW folks
can deny it.
Hour 7: Time for bed. At this point the local global temperature has
dropped so low that I need a light blanket. This would certainly not
have been true, a mere 12 hours ago!
Hour 12: I awake and check my thermometric instruments with
excitement. Yes! It is even cooler than it was at hour 7!!
Hour 15: A possibly worrisome datapoint. The global temperature
locally has begun to rise again, slightly. an end to global cooling?
evidence that the climate goes through natural cycles without human
influence?
hour 18: the local global temperature continues to rise rapidly. i
have no doubt AGW cultists will attribute this to continued AGW,
without mention of the profound cooling trend I have recorded, but
this time I will have data to counter them!
hour 24: the global temperature is now as high as it was at time zero.
still, that is evidence that the temperature has leveled off, not
evidence of warming. and if the carbon dioxide has continued to
increase during the experiment, which I am sure it has, then the
obvious cooling and warming unrelated to any change in carbon dioxide
proves there is no connection. I shall soon repeat this experiment
with measurements of carbon dioxide, if Time Magazine sends me a
carbon dioxide measurement instrument to go with this thermometer they
sent me when I subscribed.
now, to publish! i know that it won't be easy to fight the vast wealth
and power of the climatology cartel, who will stop at nothing to
ensure that my findings are not reported, but luckily i have found
other brave souls on the internet who will not cooperate in stifling
the truth, and provide a forum for real experimental research such as
mine, in preference to those "models" beloved of Al Gore and his ilk. |

Not only that, but the extremely low level of solar radiation
at this point in time demonstrates conclusively that increased
levels atmospheric particulates are present, thus accounting
for the undeniable drop in temperature. PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE,

page...http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/tabledata/GLB.Ts+dSST.txt
This page measures the global land and ocean index with monthly data.
For the month of June, it says an anomaly of .26 degrees (from the
average they are using). Last year, it said .53. Therefore, the drop
would mean that June 2008 was less than half of the anomaly that last
year had. Indeed, you have to go back nearly 20 years to find a lower
global temperature for July.
And...just for kicks...check this

..
It is a long term graph showing continued dropping (dramatic) of the
troposphere data over the past 18 months.
Keep in mind that we had this dramatic drop in global temperature
WITHOUT any reduction in worldwide pollution output. Global Warming

Global temperature averages have been dropping for 10 years. Al Gore
still hasn't debated this.
We need to start a big counter for number of days Al Gore's lies go
undebated.

If so funny, these same people that don't believe the globe is warming,
don't believe we have an economic crisis.
What have you guys been drinking?

DEmocrats created the economic problems because they are puppeteered
by Marxists like George Soros and the EnviroMarxists. But that has
nothing to do with the FACT that the earth has cooled for 10 years,
and Foul Gore still won't come out of his mega-carbon footprint house
and debated. |

Actually, it's an improperly mapped graph which shows an end-point
that has not been reached yet, and is only correct if the
temperatures continue an accelerated decrease. Hightly unlikely
given the generally upward motion of the past cycles as indicated
in the 1st order curve fit.
What is being shown looks much more like a cyclic phenomenom which
is increasing in amplitude as it decreases in periodicity
duration, or to put it simply:
Batten down the hatches;
we're sailing into heavy weather. |

Although the official reports are not set to be updated till July
15th, there is significant data to show that July continued the 14
month (or so) drop in Global temperatures.
First, we have this page...

Funny. I just saw a couple of days ago that parts of the United States are
experiencing record highs.

So...what ... ignore the global data and believe you?

You are the one who is quite selectively ignoring the global data,
picking only data elements that suit your preordained conclusion.
